Bio

My brother has played pool since I was 5, he wanted to participate in the Super Billiards Expo which happened to be on my 8th birthday! My parents told him we couldn't go because it was my birthday, well he talked me into saying it was ok we could celebrate my birthday the week before (which was a win for me!). I'm so glad we went that year, I was so inspired by not only my brother but the thousands of players that were at the tournament and how well everyone played. That is when I started to practice and listen a little more to instruction. Pool has always been a big part of our family; my parents have played league since before I was born, but I didn't really see how great it was until that trip to the SBX. Since then I have played in the Juniors division of the Super Billiards Expo finishing 3rd in 2015! I practiced a lot after that and my Dad saw my improvement and encouraged me to play in the BEF Junior nationals in 2017. I didn't decide to play until July of 2017 when April Larson convinced me that I had the potential to do well. She was right, I finished 2nd in Junior Nationals and was awarded a spot to represent the USA in the Junior World's in Moscow, Russia. I also caught the eye of Andy with McDermott and was awarded my sponsorship!!! When I got home from Russia, I had several people ask me to join their adult teams to play in various tournaments and leagues in our area, so I played in the VA State Moose Association Women's 9 ball tournament and I WON! What an amazing year it was to get to play pool with the best junior players in the country! I will always remember it and I look forward to many more tournaments and 1st place trophies!!
